Our most recent development and research work with the BNS team helped pave the way for the BENS integration into Blockscout Explorer. This universal implementation grants name service providers the ability to have Name Service lookups on Blockscout without the need of proprietary infrastructure!

When you register a .base name thought DAppscout, you'll receive 1,000 BNS points for each year of your domain's registration. A BNS domain name registration for:
- 1 year grants you 1,000 points.
- 2 years grants you 2,000 points.
- 3 years grants you 3,000 points, and so forth.
Accumulating 2,000 points earns you a free year's registration of your new BNS name!
This means if you register your name for two years, you'll gather enough points to secure a new domain for one year at no additional cost!
How to Earn Points?
It's very simple. Follow this easy guide:
- Visit DAppscout on the Base explorer.
- Connect your wallet to Blockscout, at the top right of the explorer.
- Launch the Base Name Service app within DAppscout.
- Search for your desired .base domain, select a duration, and make your purchase.
You'll see the number of points you'll earn from the domain purchase. Don't forget if you register a name for two years (2000 points) you can claim a free domain for a one year!
How to Use Points?
- On checkout select the years you want to register for.
- Under 'Type of Payment' select "PTS" as payment method.
- Select the checkout button "Register with Points"
Remember, points can only be accrued through DAppscout usage!
