Dappscout Sorting: Learn how to Sort Dapps by Categories
Dappscout is a user-friendly tool designed to help users effortlessly explore various decentralized applications (Dapps) across multiple blockchain networks and protocols. The platform carefully curates an extensive and diverse list of Dapps and categorizes them for easy navigation and access.

The search bar allows you to find Dapps by a specific name or keyword. With the added sort feature, you can discover apps based on their ratings and security scores, enabling you to find the perfect Dapp that is reliable and tailored to your specific needs.
Dapp Groups
Dapps are categorized into more than ten groups. Let's go through each one.
- Swaps - for buying, selling, and swapping of cryptocurrencies.
- Bridges - allow you to transfer your assets across chains
- Liquid Staking - Enables users to stake assets while maintaining liquidity through tokenized representations.
- Lending - Facilitates borrowing and lending of crypto assets with or without collateral.
- Yield Aggregators - Optimize and automate yield farming strategies for maximum returns.
- Governance & DAOs - Enable decentralized decision-making and community governance.
- CDPs - Allow users to mint stablecoins by locking collateral in smart contracts.
- NFTs - Provide unique digital ownership and verifiable scarcity for assets.
- Wallets - Securely store, send, and receive cryptocurrencies and digital assets.
- Social - Decentralized platforms for communication, identity, and content sharing.
- Dev Tooling - Provide infrastructure and frameworks for building decentralized applications.
- Data Analytics - Offer insights and on-chain data analysis for blockchain activities
- Payments - Enable seamless and trustless cryptocurrency transactions.
How to Sort Dapps
There are currently 4 options for sorting Dapps within each group.
Sort by Default
This Default sorting option is selected by default on the page. It shows all of the Dapps available in the Explorer based on the selected group. If no group is selected, Default shows all available Dapps in all groups. You can also curate this list through the use of favourites - see below for more details.
Sort by Top-rated
Top-rated Dapps are those that receive the highest ratings from community users. These ratings are based on users' personal experiences and consider various factors such as functionality, user interface, reliability, and customer support. By utilizing this sort option, you can easily view Dapps ranked from the highest to the lowest ratings.
Sort by Most-rated
The most-rated Dapps are those that receive ratings from a significant number of users. This high volume of user feedback highlights the popularity of these Dapps and indicates a strong and engaged community of users. This can help you make informed decisions about which Dapps to engage with based on community sentiment and usage trends.

Sort by Security Score
Security is critically important, especially for Dapps that hold user assets and tokens. The security score indicates how secure a Dapp is before you interact with it. The security score is obtained from the analysis of the Dapp's smart contracts with an integration from the team at Solidityscan.
Click on the shield icon. In this example the analysis shows seven high vulnerabilities, 68 low vulnerabilities, and 34 gas-intensive bugs. However, this is over all smart contracts and these bugs are not considered severe, resulting in a GREAT score for this bridge application.
Add Dapps to your Favourites
One of the most effective ways to sort Dapps is to create your own curated list of favourites. To add to your favourites list, simply click on the heart icon associated with each Dapp. Then select the heart category at the top to view your curated list. You don't need to be logged in to use this feature - your favourites are stored on the browser side.
