Hello Blockscout friends! Our February was absolutely packed... and then ETHDenver happened 🥄🐳. Needless to say schedules were thrown out of whack as we spent the week mingling with chains, projects, apps, developers and enthusiasts in person, as well as taking in the one-of-a-kind experience that can only be found at ETHDenver.

Our team presented at several events, including the XPR Ledger Zone (the new XPR Ledger Sidechain is using Blockscout as their primary explorer) and an alpha announcement of VERA, the new verifier alliance dedicated to providing open access to the source-code of EVM smart contracts.

We're extremely proud to be part of this collective effort which includes Sourcify, Tenderly, Routescan, Dora, Beaconchain, Codeslaw, Conduit, Paradigm, Vyper and more, and dropped the alpha announcement on the BASE stage.

We also held a dinner for friends and partners which included live music, great food, even better company, and blockchain games with Austin Griffith, who helped us throw some blockchain dice and catch some blockchain fish.

Overall it was an amazing time, and hopefully we had a chance to say 👋 and see you IRL. If not, we'll be at more events this year spreading the word about an open-source explorer that's everywhere you look 👀 You know, Blockscout!

Product Updates

AI integration

In February we announced our brand new AI integration for transaction interpretation. Our proprietary AI engine takes complex transaction data and creates a simple summary, so users can easily understand what happened at the top of every transaction. This advancement is helping make blockchain data more accessible than ever before. Read the full article here.

Gas tracker preview

One of the more requested features for Blockscout is an advanced gas tracker. While we have basic gas tracking capabilites, many users want more information including historical gas prices. We wanted to share a quick mockup of what we're working on...look for the advanced gas tracker charts and stats to go live o production instances in the coming months.

Blobs are coming!

The Dencun (EIP-4884) upgrade on March 13 will bring blobs to Ethereum, reducing fees and posting costs for L2s. We'll share more on how Blockscout works with blobs and blob details once they go live!

Blockscout Instances & RaaS Providers

We welcomed several new instances to the Blockscout family this month, along with integrations from new RaaS providers!

Etherlink

Etherlink testnet launched with a Blockscout instance. We sat down for an interview to discuss some Etherlink differentiators including the fact that it is EVM enshrined, has a decentralized sequencer, sub-second L2 finality, and external data retrieval.

Lisk testnet launched with a Gelato, a leading RaaS provider who is launching some amazing rollups and including Blockscout as the explorer of choice.

ZKSats

Bitcoin L2s are beginning to launch with Blockscout as their primary explorer. ZKSats is the first ZK-Rollup Bitcoin Layer 2 Network using Blockscout!

PineX

PineX is a new decentralized platform for web3 builders. Look for rollups with Blockscout support coming soon.

Zeeve

Zeeve is a growing RaaS provider using Blockscout. We had a chance to meet in Denver and talk rollups, integrations and more.

DAppscout Updates

The DAppscout marketplace is expanding with more DApps and features. We introduced several new features in February, including enhanced sorting and connection info that makes DAppscout easier to use.

Zetachain launched a DAppscout instance on their explorer and over 50 DApps have been added! The Zetachain ecosystem continues to thrive as it connects assets across ecosystems.
